This jade pendant is a feminine, elegant spin (with a 16x5mm donut-shaped jade) on the "Ping An Kou" (平安扣) which is known as the safety amulet in Chinese culture.

Crafted from premium lavender jadeite, the smooth, pastel purple jadeite disc is delicately suspended from a sleek sterling silver chain, accompanied by a "LOVE" ring with CZ stones, adding a feminine twist to the traditional jade pendant.

The round shape with a central hole symbolises harmony, completeness, and the cyclical nature of life. This shape is reminiscent of ancient jade "bi" (璧) discs, which were used in rituals and as symbols of heaven.
Often, travellers would carry or wear a "Ping An Kou" to ensure that they have a safe trip, free from accidents or misfortune; or wear it daily as a protective charm.

Natural jadeite is mildly translucent and able to reflect light to produce a natural glow under the sun.
