Warranty

At Jayde Jewellery, we stand behind our products and warrant that all items are free of manufacturing defects. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, we will repair the merchandise, or replace with a new, non-defected item, within 12 months of your purchase. If the item is no longer available, Jayde Jewellery will replace with an item of similar value, or provide a store credit equal to the value of the item less any discounts.

We also warrant that our plated jewellery will be tarnish resistant for the duration of this warranty (12months in duration). Please note that any tarnishing caused due to failure to adhere to the Care Instructions, are not included in this warranty.

Claiming your Warranty
To make a claim, you must email info@jayde-jewellery.com to initiate your claim, in which you will be informed with instructions to return your product in its original packaging. You will be responsible for expenses related to shipping (both ways). Jayde Jewellery is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of the product during transit.

Your item will be examined and if deemed appropriate, fixed or replaced for you.

Conditions and Exclusions:
The warranty is available for all full priced jewellery purchased online. The 12 month period starts when the goods have been dispatched.

Fine jewellery is not impervious to normal wear, activities or trauma. This is particularly true for rings and bangles since hands are regularly subjected to contact with things. We do not provide warranties for damage due to normal wear, loss of stones (due to improper wear/alterations to the original design) or product loss.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that are not covered within this warranty:

  • Loss or disappearance of gems or parts (due to improper wear/alterations to the original design e.g. changing the necklace chain or bail)
  • Normal wear and tear, such as ring scratches, peels, or if they are bent out of shape from rough use
  • Breakage due to rough use (i.g. sudden, strong force on bangles)
  • Tarnish or deterioration due to contact with toxic acids and substances / not adhering to the provided care guide
