The "Wu Shi Pai" (無事牌) jade pendant is a traditional Chinese pendant and has its origins dating back to the late Ming dynasty.

"無事" translates to 'nothing happens' or 'no incidents'. The "Wu Shi" pendant symbolises the wish for continuous good fortune, with no obstacles or negative events disrupting the flow of life. 

This specific jade pendant design was also originally termed “undecorated pendants”, alluding to its plain, uncarved appearance. It reflects the value of simplicity and contentment in life. It encourages the wearer to appreciate the beauty of a peaceful, minimalistic existence without the need for excessive material wealth or success.

Natural jadeite is mildly translucent and able to reflect light to produce a natural glow under the sun.
